Where Should You Buy a Berkey?

<- Home |

If you're reading this you already know that a Berkey System is a great water filter on the market today. So, where is the best place to buy a Berkey for yourself? Here at BerkeyFilters.com, of course! Yes, we're biased, but here are a few of the reasons you should choose us, BerkeyFilters.com.

Berkey Filters is one of the oldest Berkey Water Filter System distributors. We've been in business for over 20 years.

Our company is family-owned and operated here in Pueblo, Colorado.

We offer a 30-day, 100% satisfaction guarantee because we know you will be happy with your purchase, and our customer support. Check out our complete policies to see our warranty statement.

Is a Berkey worth it? Yes! The cost breakdown of stainless steel water filter systems compared to other water filters is much more economical.  The cost of use is only around two cents per gallon.

Looking for a deal? A coupon perhaps? The best way to be notified of sales is by joining our exclusive email group. Occasionally, you can find a great bargain in our Scratch and Dent Collection.

The value of a Berkey lies in how long it lasts. We recommend replacing Black Berkey® Elements every 3,000 gallons (6,000 per set of 2 elements). Elements may require replacement sooner based upon the quality of influent water. Pitcher water filters last a fraction of that time, and some are only good for 100 gallons.

The materials used are all high quality. When you buy a Berkey you are investing in the future of your drinking water for years, maybe even decades, to come.

The housing is 304-grade stainless steel which is extremely resistant to corrosion.

The minimal plastic that is used is of food-grade quality.

The filters are made of a blend of elements that capture contaminants, preventing you from ingesting them. They are made of a carbon composite containing high-grade coconut shell carbon. They are manufactured in Texas by New Millennium Concepts, which does not sell directly to the public.

With a Berkey, you are implementing a system that doesn't support single-use plastic pollution. Only 20% of 50 billion plastic water bottles are recycled each year. It's no surprise that plastic is the largest contributor to ocean pollution. Most bottled water sold is just plain ole (possibly contaminated) tap water. The solution? Drink filtered water from a Berkey using one of the many sustainable drinkware options we have available.
